shipping

as we wander the world, we expect our customers do as well, so we ship both domestically & internationally. shipping rates are automatically calculated based upon weight, size, and destination. please allow 2-3 business days for order processing. if you need faster service, let us know, we try to accomodate every request.

 

returns + exchanges

purchases must be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt for full credit. products must be in their original packaging and in original condition.

 

sales tax

sales tax will be charged on all purchases sent within new york state at the current taxable rate. shipping costs are not taxable.

upon request, we will gift wrap your items and attach a handwritten gift card with your personalized message. at checkout, simply compose your message, and your gift will be presented in a distinctive style in keeping with dar gitane. for this service, just purchase the $10 shipping and handling fee at checkout.

packaging

at dar gitane, we take great care in packaging your items. if your order arrives in previously used shipping boxes, it is because we are repurposing materials. if you would like to request new packing materials, we understand. please leave us a note when you check out.
